Dr. Stephen A. Luskin

Dr. Luskin graduated with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1980. He had been in practice in Pacific Beach since 1981.  Dr. Luskin transferred ownership of his practice in May of 2011 after 30 years.  He is currently working part time as an independent optometrist in the office of Denis Iwamoto in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego.  Dr. Luskin is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. He is also a clinical examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.  Dr. Luskin is a Viet Nam veteran serving in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.  He is qualified as a Master Scuba Diver and is certified in Rescue Diving.  Besides scuba diving, Dr. Luskin is an avid road bike rider and is a highly skilled table tennis player.

Sherry L. Luskin, Office Manager

Sherry Luskin has been working in the optical field for 15 years. Sherry is our eyewear fashion consultant and assists in the puchasing and selection of eyeglasses. Sherry specializes in quality frame selection and has a keen eye to match the correct eyewear for each individual. She is also our insurance billing specialist. She can trouble shoot insurance problems and is nicknamed the "pittbull in a skirt" when it comes to dealing with insurance companies. Sherry is also a Mary Kay Consultant and has a vast knowledge in cosmetics and skin care products.

Frame Selection

There is a large selection of quality eyeglass frames in Dr. Iwamoto's office.  We carry designer lines such as Silhoette, Fendi, Calvin Klein, BCBG, Nike, and the Marchon Flexon line.  There is also a wide variety of Optical quality sunglasses such as Wiley X and Ray Bans.  We would be glad to assist you in finding the proper frame for your lifestyle.
